Alone in The Desert!!

Finally, it is the night, it is the time to sleep and get some rest before I'm going to my trip to the Desert! I'm so excited and afraid in the same time.

I always thinking about this moment.

I already prepared my bag pack, But wait a minuet!

" Did I put everything that I need! "


I have to Make sure that everything are in the bag.
Umm, Let me see, I have here, map of the Desert, big bottle of water,
some canned food, some snacks, tissue and of course my digital camera.

Yes, everything is here, now I can sleep. I went to my bed then I slept.

In the morning, I woke up and I had my breakfast.

For the last time, I checked my bag then I took a bus with my parents Heading to the desert. When we arrived my father said:

" Are you sure that you want to go alone? do you want me to go with you? "

" Dad, I said yesterday I want to do this adventure myself "

" But we are worried, what will happen If you get lost, you know... it's the desert! " said mother.

" Oh mom, come on, I'm not alone. it's a group trip and it's about one day. I will be fine don't worry that much "

" Ok dear, take care and don't go far away from the group " said father.

" I put some extra food and water. Don't miss the group and open your eyes carefully " said mother. 

" Okay, Okay, thank you mom, I will be fine. I have to go now "

I hugged my mother and kissed her. Everyone had a camel, I gave my camel a name, just for fun, " Shehab " which means a meteor, I don't know why but it suited him. Then our trip begins. We start walking in two nearby lines, we walked for one hour, and one of the responsibles for this trip started to give us some facts and information about this desert. Listening to him made me bored, because I have read a lot about this desert weeks ago before the trip.

I just looked around me, it's a beautiful view of golden sand, blue sky and white clouds. After three hours, we stopped to eat our lunch. I opened my bag, ate and drunk. After that, we gathered together listening to the rest of our trip plan, now everyone can walk near our small temporary camp. Everyone took food and water to his\her camel, then went around the camp may be to take some photos or enjoy his\her self. For me, I always want to sprawl on the golden sand. The sand is very smooth and warm which remind me of my mother's hug.

After an hour, we had finished our trip plan and had been going back. Suddenly, there is a Sandstorm! the responsibles shouted and called us to walk together. I ride Shehab, but I couldn't see anything also my feet! It is a really heavy sandstorm. I was frightened. After a few time, the sandstorm started to disappear, but what is going on! Where is everybody! There aren't anyone here! No don't tell me that am I lost! No.. No..!! 
" HEEEEY WHERE IS EVERYBODY! CAN YOU HEAR ME! PLEASE IT'S NOT THE RIGHT TIME TO PLAY SILLY GAME! HEEEEY! "

" Oh My God there is something wrong I'm sure. " My tears fall down from my eyes. I have to do something, but what. MOM, DAD. *Crying*

" Mom, I promise to do everything you want me to do. Dad, forgive me if I do not listen to your requests or advice. Sis, I will share my toys and make up with you. Bro, I will give you my favorite CDs and my ipod player. " *Crying*

I wish if I can feel my mother's warm hand like what I feel now. " HA! " I opened my eyes! I couldn't believe what I saw! " Mom, Dad. " It's really my mom's hand! I stood up and hugged them.

" I promise I will be by your sides, I can't be apart from you. I will be a helpful daughter "

" What are you talking about! " said mother.

" I think she had a nightmare! " said father.

" What! a Nightmare! "

I looked around me. This is my room and my bed!

" Oh THANKS GOD "

I know I can't go in any trips alone without my family or my friends.

Actually, I did not go in any trips to a desert before, but I have to write about it, so I just tried to use my imagination to write this story lol. Don't Laugh Please!

a Little Girl's Strange thoughts

Welcome again,

Last Literature class we made a research about '' Stream of consciousness '' writing. We looked at Jack Kerouac's famous book which is called '' On The Road '', so I will try to write in this style of writing, but I'm not sure I can do it now. Let's start. 

one day, a  5 year old girl asked her mother: '' Why you did not wear green contact lenses on your eyes and dye your hair with brown colour when you gave birth to me! ''

" Why would I do that dear? '' said mother.

'' If you did that I would born with green eyes and brown hair. You know that I love green eyes with brown hair, do not you? ''

'' What! we can not do that! '' laughed mother.

'' I'm sure we can, next time, when you give a birth to my new brother or my new sister, make sure you do it, mom okay ''

This little girl is me lol. I was crazy girl who asked strange questions and had unbelievable thoughts and ideas all the time. I had many strange ideas and the previous story is one of my incredible thoughts.


Always, I was thinking about this idea and blamed my mother, but when I grow up I understood that is impossible. Until now, I am still imagining what will happen if this is a reality! OH MY GOD FANTASTIC! 
Honestly, if this could be a reality I do not want my mother to do it to my new bro\ sis, therefore, I'll feel jealous.

I have asked myself '' Will people be interested to do that? What about those individuals who are crazy of some Animation's characters? '' may be they wish to be like their favorite characters in their appearance. For example, you can see these pictures! oh wow (*_*)

Personally, of course I think it will be something amazing if we can see people with colourful hair and eyes and if I can do it I would like to try it , but I'm sure it is better as our god creates us. (^o^)

I have been studying away from my home for more than eight months. Right now, it's summer vacation, but I have to study for my last term here in the United Kingdom. I cried many times, not because I have all the responsibilities on my shoulder here, but  because I miss my home, my mom, my dad, my siblings, my room and everything so badly, although I can see them through Internet.

I usually feel homesick when I lose the enthusiasm and aspiration to complete and succeed in the purpose of studying then at night I cry until I sleep. However, when I heard that someone else feel the same it makes me feel a little better. (^_^)

After two weeks from now, it will be the first time for me to spend Ramadan without my family. Then after Ramadan we have a festivity days "Eid". It'll be very very very hard, but I hope I can be happy and leave my tears away. (T_T)

Note: Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar which is the blessed month of fasting when all muslim eat no food for a period of time for religious purposes which are :


1- To redirect the heart away from worldly activities, its purpose being to cleanse the inner soul and free it from harm.


2- To allows Muslims to practice self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less fortunate; thus encouraging actions of generosity and charity.

I always said to myself this is the time to learn lots of things, succeed and achieve my goals and go back to my family and make them proud. Yes, I'm NOT going to be away from them for long time. ٧(^_^)

The Bride of the Red Sea

Hello everyone, this is my first time trying to post some of my writing in English using a blog. I'm very excited to have this new experience, but please don't think that I'm a perfect writer. However, I'll do my best using my own style.

Every time when I decide to start writing my diaries I give up, because I'm always thinking about stupid things such as notes and I said: ' Should I start to write about present or the past first? what should I do if the notes do not have enough paper? what if I write something wrong and I have to remove the paper? what will happen if I write some of my hidden secrets and one of my family found my diaries and read them!' ...etc

Then I just forget about writing and keep all of my special events in my mind. However, when I see this quotations '' Keep a diary and someday it'll keep you'' and '' Only good girls keep diaries. Bad girls don't have the time'' I think that I have to start writing again >> ooh NO NOT AGAIN! (T_T)

Few days ago, I was thinking about - what our tutor (Sam) told us - my first post. actually I found it very difficult to decide how can I start, for me always the most difficult step is the beginning, so I thought it's better to start with something easy that I know. Therefor, I'll write about my hometown Jeddah.

'The Bride of the Red Sea' is a nickname of my hometown Jeddah which located on the coast of the Red Sea. It's the second largest city in Kingdom Saudi Arabia after the capital city, Riyadh. I was born and I have lived there. It's a lovely city, but to be honest I don't like its hot and sunny weather in the summer. However, in the winter its nearly cool weather, but unfortunately without rain as people in Jeddah always said '' rains come only once a year '' (>_<)
The area of Jeddah City has a distinctive regional speech pattern called the Hejazi dialect, alternatively known as Meccan or Makkawi.

Landmarks

'The Red Sea Mermaid ' have many significant landmarks such as old buildings, old markets, malls and shopping centers, resorts, international restaurants, Amusement parks, and King Fahd's Fountain (which is the tallest water fountain in the world).

According to Wikipedia, the population of Jeddah city currently stands at over 3.4 million.
